“Music Director Matthew Everingham leads a fine orchestra as well as the actor-singers who together bring this fantastic score to great heights.”
“An equal star of this production was the sixteen-piece, on-stage band under the inspiring direction (from the piano) of Matthew Everingham. I was distracted so often by superbly phrased solos and stunningly played full-band segments that I sometimes missed what was happening frontstage.”
“Matthew Everingham has done a perfect job as Musical Director. The band is tight, the accompaniments hit the right spot and the players sound like they love what they’re doing which is exactly what you want.”
